A: According to a recent study by the Harvard School of Public health, more than 46 million homes in the United States are under-insulated. Signs your house may be under -insulated:
- Your house is more than 15 years old
- Your house has significantly higher utility bills than similarly-sized homes in your area
- Your house has no frost on the roof on days when there is frost on the ground (and on other homes in your neighborhood).

A: The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) Website is a great place to start. Oregon residents are also encouraged to check with the Energy Trust of Oregon.

Q: How do I know if I qualify for these programs?
A: Some of the programs are straightforward and apply to everyone. Others require an inspector to come to your home. Q: Tell me about Buckaroo Thermoseal's logo?
A: We’re glad you asked. In the 1960s, the Portland Buckaroos were Portland’s professional hockey team. Our founder, Arnie Schmautz, was one of the original Buckaroos. In fact, Arnie has the distinction of scoring the first goal ever in the then new Memorial Coliseum. Once the team disbanded, Buckaroo Thermoseal licensed the old Buckaroo logo and made it our own.
